Per CDC Guidelines:
- If you are sick:? You should wear a facemask when you are around other people (e.g., sharing a room or vehicle) and before you enter a healthcare provider?s office. If you are not able to wear a facemask (for example, because it causes trouble breathing), then you should do your best to cover your coughs and sneezes, and people who are caring for you should wear a facemask if they enter your room.?Learn what to do if you are sick.
- If you are NOT sick:?You do not need to wear a facemask unless you are caring for someone who is sick (and they are not able to wear a facemask). Facemasks may be in short supply and they should be saved for caregivers.
This is a fluid situation that requires daily assessment.? As of 3/14/20 we plan to remain open.? Considering the volume of visiter we experience, the lack of crowding in our workplace, as well as our ability to maintain procedures that keep our space clean, we believe we are able to maintain operations while keeping employees and clients safe.? As COVID progresses in our local community we will continue to re-assess and will be prepared to suspend operations.
Fortunately Patrick work as a manager for the second largest healthcare providers in the US.? He is receiving daily updates and meeting regularly with his organizations Associate Medical Director of Quality and Chief of Infectious Disease.? Patrick is deeply involved in all updates that are going out to healthcare providers and will continue to advice on VMW policies, procedures and response plan.
Cara & Patrick will be sending messages to all clients about what VMW is doing to keep clients and employees safe.? We will also make clear that those experiencing symptoms or who believe to have been exposed to COVID should cancel their appointments.? Furthermore we will be adding information in the emails sent to clients from Vagaro.? Copies will be posted to the internal employee COVID site as well.
